60+ Nevada Trivia Questions

June 9, 2023 BY Ambreen Zahra

Nevada is a state in the Western region of the United States. It is lined by Oregon toward the northwest, Idaho toward the northeast, California toward the west, Arizona toward the southeast, and Utah toward the east. Nevada is the seventh generally broad, the 32nd-generally crowded, and the ninth least thickly populated of the U.S. states. Nearly 3/4 of Nevada’s kin live in Clark County, which contains the Las Vegas-Paradise metropolitan area, including three of the state’s four largest incorporated urban communities. Nevada’s capital is Carson City while the largest city is Las Vegas.

Nevada is officially known as the “Silver State” because of the importance of silver to its history and economy. It is also known as the “Battle Born State” because it achieved statehood during the Civil War (the words “Battle Born” also appear on its state flag); as the “Sagebrush State”, for the native plant of the same name; and as the “Sage-hen State”.
